Rayong is about 180 km south east of
Bangkok,Thailand and easily accessible from Pattaya - about 80 km
Being on a seaside location, the province is famed for its seafood products
and is also well known for its tropical fruits such as rambutan, mangosteen and 
durian.
Rayong is known for its fishing villages that are far less developed than the

Samed Island in Thailand
Ko Samed is essentially an island getaway, ideal for
those who simply want to relax and forget the rest of the world for a while. The secluded
bays with their glistening white sand which squelches underfoot lkie freshly fallen snow
are still to be found dotted alongthe island's east coast, while the hilly interior offers
a tropical jungle experience. The island is about 6 km long and some 131 sq.km in area.
