Chiang Rai, is the capital of Thailand's northern most province, is 785 km. from Bangkok. It is renowned for its beautiful mountain scenery, the romantic Mekong river, unspoilt hilltribe villages, thelodgings in Chiang Rai Golden Triangle, temples and ancient sites and ruins.
